Nevenka Mečanin

Nevenka Mečanin brings extensive experience from a wide range of sectors, including international relations, policy management, and the IT industry. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Political Sciences with a major in International Relations and a Master’s degree in European Politics and Crisis Management. This strong academic foundation has allowed her to blend her passion for diplomacy and global issues with her practical expertise in organizational leadership.

Currently, Nevenka serves as a SAP Project Manager in the technology sector, where she focuses on optimizing digital transformation and leading complex projects that drive innovation and efficiency. Her work spans across various international markets, with a strong focus on strategic management and creating sustainable solutions.

Passionate about gender equality and economic empowerment, Nevenka has dedicated a significant portion of her career to working in non-governmental and international organizations, where she led initiatives aimed at improving women’s rights and economic opportunities. Her expertise lies in combining policy management with practical, impactful actions, enabling her to deliver real change in the communities she serves.

As a committed advocate for women’s empowerment, Nevenka seamlessly blends her background in European policy and crisis management with her skills in IT project leadership. Outside of her career in IT, Nevenka continues to contribute to social causes. She is an active member of IWS – Innovative Women of Serbia, where she collaborates with other professionals to support women in the workforce, promote gender equality, and lead educational initiatives.
