In September 2024, Innovative Women of Serbia (IWS) conducted a comprehensive national-level study to obtain precise data on the real status of women’s gender and labor rights across all industries in Serbia, with a particular focus on the IT sector. The research was based on a representative sample of 1,200 respondents, providing an in-depth analysis of workplace conditions, gender equality, and professional opportunities for women. The findings of this study offer valuable insights into systemic challenges, disparities, and areas for improvement, serving as a foundation for policy recommendations and initiatives aimed at fostering a more inclusive and equitable professional environment. By shedding light on the realities faced by women in the workforce, this research contributes to the ongoing efforts to advance gender equality and empower women in all sectors of the economy.
